Inecita Mercer, LCSW-C
Therapist
Life is messy, complicated, and sometimes downright exhausting. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re coming back to it after years, I want this to be a space where you can show up exactly as you are - no filters, no performance.
I work with young adults and adults on a broad range of issues including navigating ADHD/ADD, life transitions, depression, anxiety, traumas, relationship challenges, and chronic health conditions. As a first-generation, Latina therapist I’m especially passionate about supporting other first-gen and BIPOC clients unpack the weight of cultural and generational expectations while figuring out their own path.
My approach is strengths-based and collaborative, blending modalities like Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, family systems, and somatic-based approaches. I pay attention not just to thoughts and emotions, but also to how our bodies hold stress and memories. Therapy with me is honest, real, sometimes humorous, and always rooted in curiosity and empathy. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable, with the goal of helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected.
