Jillian Salerno, LCSW-C

Lead Therapist - Clinical Supervisor

Language & words matter. We define ourselves & our worldview with our words. How do we talk to ourselves? What does our inner critic sound like? Is that voice in your mind coming from you, or someone else? Is that voice supporting your goals, or keeping your nervous system stuck? The voice in our head and the words it speaks to us are habitual; it can cause a negative cycle if not explored. Therapy is an opportunity to engage in a healing relationship with that voice in your head. I am here to support you, guide you through that journey, and help break that negative cycle.

Therapy is raw, authentic, and unfiltered. It mimics how our lives operate; how we try to find stillness in a world that seems to be going non-stop. I aim to create a space where I honor my client’s life as it is, and meet them where they are currently at. My approach in the clinical room is collaborative, holistic, and trauma-informed.

I primarily offer individual counseling services within the states of Maryland, New Jersey and soon to be Pennsylvania, as well as Board-Approved Clinical Social Work Supervision to LMSW/LBSW licensees. I am trained and qualified to provide Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
