Sydney is a recent graduate of East Carolina University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communication and competed for 4.5 years as a member of the ECU Women’s Soccer Team. During her time as a student-athlete, Sydney faced the challenge of navigating a long-term injury that kept her off the field — a turning point that introduced her to the transformative power of therapy.

Through her own therapy journey in college, Sydney discovered a deep passion for mental health and wellness. She quickly became an advocate for others, serving as one of the leaders of Morgan's Message, a national organization dedicated to ending the stigma surrounding mental health in student-athletes.

Sydney now brings her compassion, lived experience, and communication skills to Waves of Wellness Studio as a Client Care and Outreach Coordinator, where she strives to make every client feel heard, supported, and comfortable as they begin or continue their mental health journey. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment and believes wholeheartedly in the power of therapy to foster healing and growth.
